<p>A Quest for Divinity</p> <p>There was a time when gods were said to roam amongst humans. It was the era when the Path to Divinity was still open to humans. However, extremely few ever managed to transcend mortality and achieve divinity. They were revered by all akin to Gods. This era was later called the Heaven Era.</p> <p>Many powerhouses rose and fell. The Heaven era ended with a war that was so fierce, even the Path to Divinity was severed. Everything fell to ruin. Only the forbidden region known as the God's Valley survived. Today, outside the valley, only tales and lores of that time remain.</p> <p>Without the Path to Divinity, humans chose a different route. They relied on the power of reason and natural laws to develop technology. Lifespans increased, quality of life improved, several unbelievable feats were achieved. This era was later called the Terran Era.</p> <p>Alongside, progressed the instruments of war. The Terran era ended with a catastrophe so immense, over 90% of the fauna turned into mutated beasts. The God's Valley again became the last bastion of survival for humans.</p> <p>In the current era, humanity is still suffering from the consequences of the Terran tragedy. To ensure their survival, humans must overcome many trials and tribulations.</p> <p>This era of immense hardships would one day be known as the Nether Era.</p> <p>Authors note :-</p> <p>If you like novels with a very thorough world building, give this one a shot.</p> <p>I try my best to write whenever I get the chance to, but being a college student I cannot offer a lot of chapters each week.
