<p>Emptiness.</p> <p>The youth has never been able to feel any emotions. Joy, sorrow, disgust, the very basic emotions that exist in humans are non-existent in him. Being a human with rationality yet devoid of emotions, he lacks self-empathy as well as empathy for others. He, nevertheless, dons the mask of a benevolent child, imitating what a human should be but surreptitiously engages in horrendous acts, striving to become a human.</p> <p>Each and every absurd act he attempted failed to awaken his emotions and the repeated failures led him to lose hope in his own existence. When everything was supposed to end, he mysteriously ended up in an unfamiliar world. The emotions that he never managed to feel. What he is seeking. Would he be able to achieve it in this lifetime? But behind everything, his life is not what it seems to be. Unknown to the others, and not even known to him. It is a secret that may be uncovered by him or elude him for eternity. But even if everything was clear to him, would it change anything? In the world he resides and in the world he resided, if everything he will do remains the same, isn't it only natural for the outcome to be the same? Efforts are what change peoples' lives? That may be so, yet not a definite truth.</p> <p>This is the story of the youth, the creature of emptiness clad in human skin. What drives his life into existence may also be what drives him to the brink of madness. The unknowns, the absurdities, they may one day turn the entire world upside down and never be recovered.</p> <p>Note: First of all, the main genre of this novel is non-genre or known as literary. The genre itself is not part of the list so I am using genres that I felt are fitting in the given genres. Next, there will be a lot of disturbing scenes such as cannibalism, torture, gore, etc. You may find this as a fantasy, mystery, or whatever genre you have in mind, but in the end, it is a non-genre novel.</p>
