<p> A colony ship hurtling through space, far from Earth and for who knows how long. </p> <p> Things are not ok. The ship is heading to impact into a distant sun and communication has been severed throughout the ship. Infestations, alien crabs, insane crew, God knows what else, and all he wakes up to is a strange Terminal screen and its slightly malicious Local AI. </p> <p> He might have been in cryo a lot longer than he thought. </p> <p> Warning: Violence, Gore, Coarse language (I don't go crazy with it), Biological modification. </p> <p> There are stat-pages, skills, and unique gear but it is given a heavy sci-fi twist. I've been bouncing this around in my head for quite a while. The world is a lot wider than the ship but I don't want to give too many spoilers in what I've got planned. You will find a mix of soft and hard sci fi. Where it makes sense to explain it, it will be explained. Anything that doesn't make sense to explain (or I'm unable to explain to lack of ability) will lean towards softer sci fi. </p> <p> I will further edit it (I already make a pass or two before publishing) when I get to a proper stopping point (it will be a good long while). </p> <p> </p> <p> Writing Schedule: </p> <p> I will post twice a week for about 6-10,000 words total. </p> <p> Including editing and the inevitable first draft rewrite I will post twice a week: one will be 2-4000 words (Wednesday or Thursday) and the other will be between 5-7000 words (Saturday or Sunday). </p> <p> If I can devote more time to writing (and become better at it) this will obviously increase. </p>

It's not a system apoc like you'd see normally so everything isn't immediately dumped into MC's lap. It's a long journey with no quick fixes that's a struggle most steps of the way, facing demons inside and out.</p> <p>I've been bouncing this around in my head for quite a while. I don't have anything planned for magic but its a big Universe and who knows what's out there. </p> <p> It's not a 'system apoc' like you'd normally see. The system, as it is, is not an even-handed master. Rest assured, if I include something or a concept, I have already thought out how and when it will be later explained in the story. </p> <p> You'll find a mix of Soft and Hard Sci-fi.
