<p>One minute Rory was an underachieving college student, the next he and the entire world find themselves at the mercy of the System. Its sick sense of humour results in them going through the tutorial from hell. The ones that survive will be thrust into a totally alien world where might and magic rule and where humanity is far from the top of the food chain.</p> <p>The protagonist will receive some early lucky breaks and some medium-sized power ups but will be by no means the strongest or most overpowered person in the world.</p> <p>I will aim to release one chapter a week as I am just starting out, but will hopefully become more as I grow in confidence.</p> <p>This is my first attempt at writing a story of any kind and is dedicated to Rory who died from SIDS at a far too young an age.</p> <p>This story will contain great adventures, epic battles, good friends and foes alike. I am aiming to create a world that will, in some small measure, create a world that will hopefully keep his memory alive.</p>
