Raphael, an unremarkable human by all standards, dies in an aptly unmemorable manner. That should be the end of his existence. Only instead of Death, he finds himself transported to an alternate reality where humanity has spread out across the stars, carved out a portion of the galaxy as their domain, and are the most dominant species in the galaxy. Such success came not from human ingenuity, but from contact with the thirteen Frames, a race of ancient incorporeal beings that merge with virtual intelligences to manifest on the physical plane. With greater manifestation, the power they wield grow more powerful. On their backing humanity has grown strong and indomitable. But the Frames grow weary of existence. And in a singular stroke of luck, a rift between realities opens up when Raphael dies, and instead of oblivion, he gains authority over an interplanetary nation, the Frame Fetcher conceding its origin signature to him and substituting their existences. What is a man to do with untold power? And there's this; all thirteen Frames leapt through the rift when it appeared, bringing along five more humans to this reality. Seven left without installing a surrogate, leaving their authority splintered, fragments of power left free in the void. An age of chaos falls on the Andrea galaxy, all in the background of an impending war with the Vorrhia.
