<p>Do you like ducks? And do you like space? Are you also a weirdo? If you answered yes to all three, this just might be the story for you.</p> <p>Honestly, I tried to come up with some kind of catchy blurb about this silly story, but the truth is I only started writing the damn thing because some weirdo on the royal road subreddit with a fetish for duck stories was looking for new material to get them going during one-on-one time. Not that this is that kind of story, but you never never know. ;-) In fact, I barely know where this is going myself. Sure, I have a loose idea that hits a couple of tropes, but I'm tossing words at the processor to see if they stick here.</p> <p>Let's get down to brass tacks. Frankly, I'm working on another project that eats up most of my writing time, so the time spent on this Flap Merganser travesty is largely going to be influenced by how well it's received. If you like it and want more, please follow, favorite, and tell your friends about it. Odds are the updates will be more in the flash fiction range than true chapters. I'm not committing to any kind of release schedule yet either. Just wanted to be up front and set expectations from the get go.</p> <p>That being said, if you're brave enough, dive on in to Flap Merganser: Space Duck.</p>
