<p> Set in the future, a young gamer joins the global community through a VRMMORPG known as God Realms Online, or GRO for short, ready to take his place within the ranks of the game… Or he would be if he wasn't aspiring to be a regular, non-pro gamer who doesn't take place in huge mega-guild raids and get in the way of pros who are way beyond his league. </p> <p> Unfortunately for him, the game and real life seem to want to keep him off this path as much as possible via random legendary and mythical item drops from the weakest enemies, finding random valuables on the sidewalk, hidden passages that he discovers while doing D rate quests and the ever-attracting attention of legendary rate Hyper-Bosses when he's just minding his own business. </p> <p> Additionally, his friend group consists of an overly optimistic weeb Trickster, and an introverted trap Blastromancer. Doesn't help that the pros of the game are constantly harassing and attacking him as well. </p> <p> Either way, he's not getting his dream of becoming a regular gamer any time soon… </p>
