[This is a dungeon story where the Protagonist is the dungeon master, and not the core itself]

In a conclusive reformatting, the entire demon race forcefully united under a general committee. Forming a group with a sole purpose, create a true demon civilisation. Within fifty years there exists a stable economy throughout the Hell planes, yet that is all.

Without mana from the human realms, development stagnates; a new plan is pushed forward, a trade agreement. Now a century later, demons are a necessary part of the workforce amongst all races, but remnants of the timeless wars remained. Hidden from sight, ushered from earshot, but blade always drawn.

Whether humans, elves, golems, dwarves, goblins, or a multitude further, all desired simpler ways to enhance themselves. Demons capitalised on this, making their own request in the form of mana, but both sides found a simple trade in poor taste.

Soon after, the first dungeons appeared and freely allowed the demon in charge to harm any who dare delve within, but rarely doing so. Instead harvesting expended mana and pushing them out, after all, repeat customers give a lot more than one-time donors. However, costs for dungeons are prohibitive, and loans can smother dungeon masters quickly.

Another demon, different from the usual, takes on a risk. Will he fall like most, stagnate like some, or ascend through the skies like few?

Updated twice a week. Sat & Sun 6:15pm GMT (10:15am PST)
