Heroism is a fragile thing.

Yulia Novikov, daughter of the Revolution, earns a commission with the Union Battlefleet in time to see the breakdown of the fragile peace that so many died to obtain. Now everything she enjoyed her whole life is threatened by the vengeful Sio, the aristocratic upper classes that were driven from Earth decades ago. In her desperation to protect the Union, every ideal is shattered, her father's words are discarded, and through the encroaching madness of war, she faces off against the Virtus Sio: Madman, Liberator, King.

Virtus: Empire Among the Stars is a Space Opera reminiscent of the French Revolution, and the chaos that followed it. Who is justified? Who is good? And who decides the people's fate?

[This is a Space Opera - a slow burn story about idealism, morality in war, and the cost of change. While there is action and warfare, it is not as prevalent as in the 'military sci-fi' genre. This is more for people that like to think about morally gray situations. Hopefully, it lives up to my hope that it will take the place in Science Fiction that Game of Thrones took in Fantasy.]
