The year is 2030. Superheroes have existed for a long time. Heroic figures that stand among the rest to fight evil. Villainous figures that wish others harm for personal gain. This is the world that's been known since World War II, a world where seeing a man flying in the sky is viewed as a common sight.

Five years ago, the Cray Act went into effect, replacing the old ways of vigilantism with a government authorized, sanctioned, and legitmatized form of crimefighting sponsored under the Superhuman Enforcement Agency, or the SEA.

The world always teeters on the edge of destruction, and it's the heroes who make the difference. But in this moment, where cape politics are divided, and the legality of the super is an ongoing concern, the matter of what's right and what's wrong is an oft-asked question.

Few have asked this more than Blindshot. A former member of the Paragons, a former vigilante, a former inmate, recently released by the SEA, for a purpose. He is to train and guide a group of young heroes, or "cadets", to become crimefighters of their own. It's easier said than done, and when push comes to shove, one must make the decision, and then ask if it's the right one.

This is a story of superheroes, one with extensive worldbuilding and focus on the characters' personal lives as much as the action itself.

Features multiple POVs, shifting focus as needed, but the focus will be small scale at first before growing in scale as it progresses.

Current release schedule is 3-5 chapters a week, though it might be slower at certain times. During which, I'll leave a warning.

Chapters will average at around 2.5k words, sometimes more, sometimes less.

This is the first in what is intended to be a series.
