<p> The world of Entarra has been plagued by war between the Three Factions for nearly a hundred years. Each faction struggles to control the resource and mana-rich continent of Ommuria. The Stonekin Empire, with its Orcs, Goblins, Ogers, and Trolls, have been sequestered in the Northern Reaches. A tumultuous Elven Alliance defends the World Tree in the South, with the Cloud elves claiming themselves kings, while their brethren speak of peace. The expansionist Confederation of New Altia and its Humans, Kinder, Dwarves, and fey cousins, the Aosai, have captured the east while fleeing from a series of natural disasters. </p> <p> Eli Miller, a former soldier in the Confederation Army, has taken his family into the Wildwood, a deep nearly unexplored territory on the sparsely inhabited Island of Scorn. Having settled in a peaceful clearing with his wife and two kids, he lives out a simple existence as far from war as he thought possible. Yet, he now finds himself embroiled in a much more deadly threat. </p> <p> A hoard of undead, demons, and nightmarish mutations has conquered the northern continent of Wildamoore, former home of the beastkin. Their unending ferocity, violence, and disease forcing the once proud beastlike humanoids to take shelter in the western islands of Godsfall Archipelago. </p> <p> Eli and his family now find themselves in danger on all sides. Wild wolf-like beastkin, have begun to venture into his woods and stories of the blight making landfall on the Island of Scorn have spread. Meanwhile, an unknown threat stirs from deep within a ruined temple only a few days travel from Eli's cabin and immortal being from another realm have begun to appear from the heavens calling themselves Adventurers. Some have called these "Adventurers" saviors, brought to bring peace to the world and end the threat of the Blight. Others are calling them villains, as they tend to treat the lives of Entarras citizens with little respect. Where these interlopers come from, and how they fit into the troubles of Entarra, is unknown. </p> <p> Danger is everywhere. No one can be trusted. And Eli must answer three simple questions. </p> <p> What do you do when everything you hold dear is threatened? </p> <p> What do you do when you lose everything? </p> <p> What do you do when you lose yourself? </p> <p> All he knows is that he must do whatever it takes to protect those he loves, and possibly his world, even if he loses himself in the process. </p> <p> <strong> Quick Info About the Book: </strong> This is a LitRPG that is somewhat stat heavy. I have spreadsheets and have made calculators in Google Sheets. Non-harem, but sexual encounters and the topics of gender/sexuality/gender identity arise briefly in the story. </p> <p> It does have adult language, not a lot, but it's there. </p> <p> It's written for the older end of YA. </p> <p> There are scenes of intense graphic situation such as violence against women, child abuse, and murder. </p> <p> *Chapters are being shortened to increase readability.* </p> <p> </p> <p> *Chapters will be updated every three days* </p> <p> <strong> This is a suuuuper rough draft.
