Author's Note/Foreword: I have been in contact with and been given permission by FireShard to rewrite the (otherwise abandoned) story of a same name. In my version, I am expanding and continuing the plot, making it more a conversational read. The old chapters are broken into new chapters, and far more expanded than previous. Feel free to look at that original story first, if necessary; but also do read this one.

At the age of 20 years, Nathan had bought his own boat, and was looking forward to sailing the ocean solo. But the winds which blew on the ocean would counter those plans ― a storm picked up. Nathan was knocked unconscious, and he would be sunk, if not for one saving chance to survive.

Waking up after being knocked out, he has to escape from his sinking ship, to find refuge. That refuge comes in the form of a lone rock in the sea. No other land can be seen; but for stranded Nathan, at least this much is a start to survival.

But this rock in the sea would not abandon him; what he finds in this place is something he didn't expect ― an Island Seed, an object of magic to make the rock into an island.
