<p>James was just your average hoodlum. At 19 he was accustomed to getting into trouble with the law. He had already been In and out of juvee for the last 3 years. All that changed when his pops was killed. With His mother too depressed with the death of her husband to get out of bed. James, now as the man of the house, and the only one who is capable of earning money has trouble finding a job because of his criminal record. After coming home dejected after being denied yet another job, James sat on the steps of his home in LA thinking of how to provide for his younger sister and sickly mother. A new VRMMORPG just dropped called Serenity Online, and James heard from a Friend that he could possibly earn money from playing the game. With no other options, James opted to at least try because this could be the only way he can provide for his family. </p>

<p>the year is 2035, virtual reality technology has advanced to a later stage and things are just starting to get interesting. This story follows david, a young man who grew up in the still rough area of LA where unforunate events can still happen in the blink of an eye. One day his father, who is the main provider of his family is killed indescriminately for wittnessing a small time robbery. Since david himself has a record finding a stable job is hard, and he regrets his life choices up till thiss point. with no other options david almost decides to become a lowlife dealer once again, but fortunately one of his friends who he went to school with became successful in the field of virtual technology and Artificial intelligence. The company he works for called "Realistik Inc" offers david a job to become onoe of the 100,000 early testers, who will spend 24/7 hours for the next 2 months in the "virtual world". The world these people and David will be apart of can be called "game-like" but it is all real.</p>
