<p>Millenia ago, a battle took place between humanity and the Duskborn. At the time, the Twilit stepped in before the world was fully destroyed as two immense powers clashed with no end in sight.</p> <p>A century ago, the life giving Spire of Kindling was finally climbed by a group of four – three humans and a Duskborn. The Duskborn died that day, his body buried deep within a cave, in burial grounds sealed with the most powerful of spells.</p> <p>Now, a cult of man seeks the burial grounds. The Empire is destabilised as a power struggle between royals threatens the delicate balance of power. Someone is stealing bodies and making people disappear, never to be heard of again. The Duskborn are slowly emerging from their long silence that started when their Lord died. Soul magic is seen within the Empire, despite best efforts to forbid its studies.</p> <p>Amidst all of this, Ash Morgan sets off from his remote village to join the High Tower Academy, the prestigious Magic Academy at the very heart of the Empire. Many eyes turn on him, and his uncanny ability to see mana too well as he joins a class of five students, and their eccentric teacher.</p> <p>While the world he stepped foot in was tumultuous and wondrous, nothing could have prepared Ash to the events awaiting him. Nothing would have prepared him to the sacrificial ritual that he was forced to partake in.</p> <p>Soulvessel features two lead characters, one of which is introduced later on in the story.</p> <p>Updates on 19:00 GMT+3 every weekday.</p>
