<p>How does a reformed grim dark monstrosity make a life in a suspiciously noble bright world?</p> <p>After escaping a looping isekai hell, our hero/ine Max and their handy dandy war golem sidekick Miles try to find semi-stability in a not-dead world. Instead, they end up surrounded by paranormal weirdness, ducking fangs, claws, their accidentally/intentionally acquired god(dess) responsibilities, and dodging any weird romantic entanglements that might cause more problems than they are ready to handle. Thousands of lives let Max see and avoid most trope flags, but being social and actually living is the hardest part.</p> <p>Can the two find a way to just exist without a looping hero/ villain arc? Can they finally find a way to lock themselves out of the death spiral of heroism/villainy? Will Max ever get the bunker of their dreams?</p> <p>References to self-harm, suicide (like, right out of the gate), gore, sex, and profanity. Irreverence to gender and gender identity.
