"Here at Esoteric, we've spent years conducting research on how to best improve the human race. We tried everything from surveys, sleep studies and physical endurance tests to directly probing at the brains of our subjects and watching the reactions. But unfortunately, our efforts were futile, and we didn't see any signs of evolution in our subjects. We were still left without an answer to our main concern: how are we supposed to evolve the human race?

I wouldn't find the answer until I discovered a wonderful piece of fictive work that dates back to the 1700s: The Elementals of Mejivan.

Of course, any type of fiction is not at all a credible source for research. However, I believed this piece was only categorized as fiction because the techniques and experiments were something that were unheard of in that century. But nearly 400 years later? With our advances in technology, science, and medicine, those practices are very much doable.

So how do we evolve humans? When I put the pieces together, it was obvious! The next step for humans is to become superhumans!"

A bruised and battered boy wakes up with no recollection of his identity or past, only to find out he's one of the newest walking science experiments who are training their newfound abilities, Flairs.

(Slow paced story and progression, meticulous, dialogue heavy)
