It was a cruel world of sword and western magic, and he was sick of it. So when a goddess came before him, Erik thought it was finally his time to be granted true peace—death.</p> <p>But that wasn't the case at all, far from it, to be exact. This woman ripped Erik's souls from its path to the afterlife, stealing away his chance at relaxation and forcing him to be her "Hero". She wanted him to delve into dungeons and fight mystical creatures and evil warlords. That didn't sound relaxing at all!</p> <p>But Erik was a cunning man. If he was going to have his peace in death stolen from him, he was at least going to find another way to get it. Even if that way was chopping down tree after tree as the [Lumberjack] Hero!</p> <p>What to Expect:</p> <p>- A Mc who is set on trying to live a peaceful life in his forest despite the world and its people trying to force him out of it.</p> <p>- A detailed system that the world has built itself around. Worldbuilding interwoven into the narrative at a slow, deliberate pace (no info dumps, hopefully!)</p> <p>-An UNCONVENTIONALLY strong Mc, meaning he's strong, yes, but not in your usual way.</p> <p>-Dungeon diving, exploring the world, system experimenting, light romance (never the focus).</p> <p>-Detailed side characters.</p> <p>-Realistic villains.</p> <p>-City building (although this will come much later in the story)</p> <p>-Occasional illustrations</p>
