You get a griffin! And you get a griffin! And you get a griffin!

Except for one loser uncle to whom she owes her life, Erin lost her family, along with her mobility, on Earth. Three years later, she's gone from aggressively outgoing to total shut-in. When she wakes up in Emerrane, a world she believes only exists in her own dreams, she nearly drowns in the endless ocean upon arrival, but she can walk again, and finds herself right alongside her dumb uncle Desmond. There's a prince, too. He's pretty cool, but a little old for her. Erin is a nobody in Emerrane, but she manages to get honored by a feral griffin, fishnapped by a merling, and somehow ends up involved in a big world-saving quest. Neat! Oh, and she also eventually figures out that it really isn't a dream after all.

Hailing from a small, backwater town, Leslyn makes his way to the king's city of Nilvar to build a better life, far away from the strife back home. Before he even reaches his destination, he is accused of stowing away on a prince's ship, a moonbrained girl mistakes him for her uncle Desmond, and he nearly gets eaten by a giant blue griffin who then holds a definite grudge over the whole ordeal. And it gets worse. Oh yes, a lot worse. They're all headed for the same place, and thanks to Nilvar's strict laws over earning one's citizenship, it looks like he's going to be stuck with all three of them for several years to come.

These two fishes-out-of-water find themselves unexpectedly swept into the culture of griffins and their riders, one employed by the Aeriemaster himself and one ensquired by the prince, who just can't seem to stay out of anything. When chance gains them their own griffins and the prince's absurdly dangerous ploy to open sea travel actually succeeds, they become involved in the quest of a legendary figure known as the Queen, who is tasked with the healing of the flooded planet and its broken moon, Crylis.

In the quest to help Queen Katharesa find her five knights, their adventures take them to places no one else has been in many generations, including the hives of the beastly dracats and the secret home of an ancient dragon-serving clan of werelings. Even with her apparent luck this time, few believe she'll make it all the way, as the Queen has failed her mission for the last four hundred years. Could Erin and Leslyn be the ones to help her to finally succeed?

Dragonriders of Pern (but with griffins) meets Final Fantasy X. There is griffin-riding and a world-spanning pilgrimage requiring "unlocking" of new and differing locations that hold more storyline and sidequesting. Low magic in the form of racial abilities such as shapeshifting, no casting spells or system. Not a litRPG by any stretch, but might have some breeding sim elements in later arcs. NOT A POWER FANTASY. The MCs go through some personal stuff and actually lose sometimes.

Initial release schedule: Monday/Friday/Saturday.

Cover Art by ttazo.
