Fate, Eternity, Space, Time, Life, Death - On the flat world of Arret where stars rise in the west and the moon never sets, there exists a 'Concept' for every idea conceived, and these Concepts are masked, immortal magicians embodying the very idea they are named after.

-

'Heart' spends every single day of her immortal life tending to her Silkmoths, weaving and sewing and singing songs to her utmost content, secluded on her little island in the middle of nowhere - and for the past eight millennia she has done precisely so, living each day the exact same as the last, not once daring to do something out of her comfort zone.

But, one night, calamity befalls her island. Stars wink out one by one and the seas evaporate before her eyes, her island unfortunate collateral damage in a battle between powerful Concepts. Now, faced with the fiery destruction of her beloved home, she is forced to venture off into the outside world for the first time in eight millennia, armed only with a sewing needle she can turn into a flute and what she believes is the weakest magic in the world.

"... Travelling by myself can't be that bad, can it?"

What you can expect:

An emotional yet fiercely determined protagonist you will fall in love with.

A massive fantasy world explored through lots of travelling. Lots of travelling. Characters move from new place to new place very often between arcs, making this story a traditional epic-fantasy adventure with lots of expansive worldbuilding and intricate lore.

A story complete with character and landscape illustrations, all machine made and further drawn upon by me.

Connections between characters and events from this story with those from 'World Concept - Absolute' and 'World Concept - Infinite', as all three fictions of mine take place in the same world. It is not necessary to read all three to understand what happens in one, however. Each story stands perfectly fine on its own.

If you like long epic-fantasy stories with both the journey and the destination, 'World Concept - Heart' might just be the right story for you.

Updates every Wednesday!
