<p>Requested by the Avid Penguin Reader, RyotiRyan</p> <p>Morino Ryou and 14 of his other classmates are one day summoned to another world as heroes, to save Fraxia and the Kingdom of Reindall from the demonic forces of the Dark Continent Ixia. Each hero is endowed with a revered class, such as Swordsman, Spearman, Archer, Barbarian, Priestess, Berserker, Bard, Sorceress, Alchemist, Swordsmith, Monster Tamer, Magic Knight, Calvary and Assassin. Ryou, however, obtains the class, Chef, which is viewed as useless not just by his classmates but also the knights and royal family of Reindall Kingdom. After a particularly vicious betrayal where he is left for dead, Ryou vows to survive and return stronger than ever, and to surpass all the other heroes. Armed with a dizzying collection of kitchen knives, forks, utensils and a repertoire of recipes, he sets out to become something unprecedented throughout the history of heroes. A Battle Chef.</p> <p>On Simple Bob's request, Ryou ends up gathering a party of misfits, which includes a pacifist dragon who specializes in healing magic, a masochistic undead knight who uses holy magic that inflicts self-damage, and a relaxed, quiet dwarf mage.</p> <p>Oh...and my own addition, a beautiful girl who serves as the tank of the party despite supposedly being a war dancer.</p>
