When it's Noble Houses war with each other, countless monsters stalk their lands slaughtering innocents leaving only a select few to combat them; Slayers. Criminals who form contracts with witches to fight these monsters so that one day peace might prevail or their freedom is won, but few if any ever live that long. Agarn, is an apprentice who has yet to take the final initiation when his Master is called upon for one last dangerous job. He only hopes to survive so that he might take the final test.</p>
