<p>The Way, a school of thought which mortals try to follow and accend beyond this plane. There is no perfect path or right answer. Cultivating power to travel along The Way may result in death, or worse - dehumanization. These energies channeled will warp flesh into a monster's body without control. Yet power is alluring; those who learn to harness their gifts grow stronger. They become soldiers in a war between Region lords, or leaders of powerful houses. Paupers become kings.</p> <p>Harnessing energy isn't the only path along The Way. Realities veil can be pierced by those gifted few willing to look beyond. Like the cultivated skills of fighters Piercing the Veil comes with risks; those who see too much go mad. Many risk their senses in exchange for the chance to be great crafters and wise men.</p> <p>Enter Young Lord Fell, sixth child in the house of Asger. His very touch destroyies the energies other try so hard to channel. He's seen across all ten fingers of the Veil since birth. His father locked him in a garden where Fell is left nearly along and bereft of family to learn about himself and the reason for his curse.</p> <p>But the story of this world and Young Lord Fell's curse are linked. This is not his first life on The Wheel but his cycle has been broken and all the memories that would have marked him as an Enlightened One are lost.
