The Empire of Pharo; a sanctuary of Humanity, a beacon of order and stability in the midst of chaos, and a sacred kingdom with the inexorable right to extend their domain. At least, this is the perception as expressed by the supposedly knowledgeable Man.

To the Forest-Goblin Gromar, these assumptions could not be more wrong. Indeed, as the sole survivor of a massacre perpetrated by the Pharosians, Gromar has borne witness to their destructive reality. Traumatized and burdened by survivors' guilt, his hatred of Humanity would not be inappropriate, for he has observed first-hand Pharo's pure and absolute hatred of all Goblin-folk.

But rather than succumbing to expectations, Gromar's tale is not one of vengeance. Rather, in choosing to rise above anger and anguish, his narrative is one of redemption and forgiveness. In unearthing and embracing his Inner Light, Gromar resolves to become a wandering beacon of hope amidst a world of turbulence, prejudice, and evil.

This story encapsulates his path to redemption and divine purpose in its entirety; from a lone survivor to eager pupil, and then to beloved spiritual teacher disseminating unto both Goblins and Humans alike an unwavering message of peace, reconciliation, and compassion.
