In the magical world of Terra, the wizard Adraykon has created a revolutionary new type of Construct. Instead of the traditional Golems made of rock or clay or such, he has created a Living Construct, able to think and reason instead of mindlessly following the exact literal wording of orders. Now you don't have to specify it should walk around a crate in the road! The first and only one he's created is Flopsy, a "Hoofbun" design made by combining his two favorite animals. With all the special features, she's magically strong and durable, and heals from injury quickly!Unfortunately, unable to repeat his success, the Living Construct project is put on hold, as Chaos Storms have been sweeping across the land causing destruction on a level that hasn't been seen in a thousand years. When Adraykon experiments with the Storms, he manages to create a portal to a room full of things he doesn't recognize. But he doesn't get a chance to even ponder his discovery before he is murdered by Malik, a cultist from the Sightless Third Eye, a group devoted to getting magic out of the hands of mortals. The portal destabilizes, pulling Flopsy through into a completely unknown place! Now, Flopsy is stranded on Earth, a confusing world of technology and concrete and glass! Thankfully, she has a couple tricks up her sleeve, such as an enchanted collar that lets her take on a (mostly) human form. Can she navigate the world she's found herself in? Can she learn how to be an independent person, when she's never been either "independent" or "a person" before? Can she balance her new life as the "human" Flopsy with her double life as the crimefighter known as "The Superbunny"? Can she figure out why this world is somehow hauntingly familiar in spite of the strangeness? Will the town of Lapine Falls, Colorado ever be the same again?---This story takes place in the same Earth/Terra setting as my other series, "Princess Tells Her Story", but a reader shouldn't need to read one to understand the other. This story is primarily Earth-focused but includes fantasy elements, as the main character is from a world of magic.Content Warnings:Most fights are "comic book" levels of violence, but there is a much more explicit event later on, which is treated seriously as it has a strong psychological impact. Many characters use explicit language, because it would be strange for the biker gang to not swear once. Flopsy and most "main" characters choose not to, simply because it doesn't fit their personality, but there are many side/background/antagonistic characters that do.
