Mark, a struggling college student desperate to change his life, is faced with an extraordinary challenge. After waking up inside the fantasy novel he had been reading, he discovers he has become Arwan Willard, an insignificant and doomed side character. Arwan is depicted as a lazy and reckless drunkard, burdened by his family's insurmountable debt resulting from their insatiable greed. Furthermore, his role in the narrative is destined to end in tragedy, serving as a mere plot device to motivate the protagonist.

However, Mark refuses to succumb to this predetermined fate. He refuses to accept a life of poverty or be relegated to a minor role in someone else's story. Armed with his modern knowledge and a shady background, Mark is determined to change his fate once and for all.

But can he truly accomplish such a daunting task? Can he defy the odds and rewrite their destiny, ensuring a brighter future for himself and the Willards?

5 – 7 chapters a week (Each 1.5 - 2k words)

What to expect:

- Questionable Morales.

- More realistic take at reincarnation in another world.

- Action & LitRPG have taken a back seat until MC's personal growth comes into play. Though some skills and growth are sprinkled all over.

- Initially, the story is all about surviving while countering the biggest issue in the family. Later on it will evolve into an action packed adventure. (May take a while to get there.)

- Mostly Natural progression. May feel slow at first, but will pick up the pace soon enough.

- Every character introduction, event, and sentence is there for a reason. There are no coincidences, only deliberate choices with consequences within the depicted universe.

- Inspired by many established & unknown literatures. Similarities maybe found, but with a unique spin to it.

- First few chapters may feel daunting, directionless and unoriginal even, but I promise it gets better.
