<p>A magister on a particular demon hunt comes to the remote town of Drezin, though the story is not about him. It is about Reginald, a vampire whose help the magister commissions through a prize too precious to reject; as well as invoking a secret they do not begin to understand. And the reason why a vampire of all creatures would be sought out? This unique demon specimen devours victims through their reflections.</p> <p>It would, of course, be quite the boring story if more wasn't at play.</p> <p>Expect: Unapologetically evil strong protagonist, fast pacing, a peek at fantasy from an angle not commonly discovered.</p> <p>Participating in the Royal Road Community magazine event of June 2023.
