<p>In a galaxy plagued by war, strife and unfathomable horrors, beings from other universes suddenly appeared one day and have continued to pop up ever since.</p> <p>Seen as curiosities at best and heralds of an invasion at worst, they do their best to live in the hostile worlds they now find themselves in despite many of them losing the fantastical abilities that once empowered them.</p> <p>One of these "Foreigners" is a young woman by the name of Lutrex, an oni adopted by the sovereign ruler of a galactic technocracy, who joins the military to follow in her late mother's footsteps.</p> <p>Placed in a fireteam of dubiously competent veterans, Lutrex's journey will have her gain friends, allies and enemies as she strives to become a SPEAR like her mother.</p> <p>Unfortunately for her, the gray world she knows is a lot darker under the surface.</p>
