Steve finds himself in the body of a cat.

With a whole world to explore, and a fresh new life for him to start, he sets out to be a different person than he used to be. Watch him grow and decide what kind of life he wants to live, even as he faces setbacks and curveballs.

The world is fickle, and there is much to see. Sometimes, the only thing you can do is to keep going forward.

What to expect:

- Hard-working MC. To a degree, coming of age, given how he has to adjust to this new world and figuring out that despite his reincarnation, he is not super special.

- Slow, but meaningful progression. The type where after a couple dozen chapters you think that the character has come far, but each step itself isn't super noticeable.

- Meta humor. There is a narrator written into the story. I think it's funny. Might not be for you.

- Worldbuilding. Once I find my footing and we're past the obligatory "start in the new world" part of the story, there will frequently be an in-world work of literature at the start of the chapter, diving into different aspects of the world. (Yes, this is an idea that I really liked in Chrysalis and applied here.)

- Queer people. If you don't like LGBT+ characters in stories, this might not be for you.

2 Chapters per day until we're caught up, averaging 3000 words each. Consistency is wonky at the start, but gets much better as the story progresses.
