<p>PSR 1257 12A is an unassuming planet on the edge of the Terran's Republic influence. It is also the next fortunate target of the Republic's unending expansion. However, to the Terran's surprise, the world already possesses a human population, stopping the entire operation in its tracks as long-forgotten protocols and laws are dug out of the archives.</p> <p>Yet having to apply old protocols quickly turns out to be one of the Terran's lesser problems, as the world's society turns out to be quite alien, more than anyone could have expected.</p> <p>Soon even the world's status as a lost colony is cast into doubt, yet even that revelation is completely overshadowed by the incredible abilities revealed by the world's self-proclaimed custodian, Serana.</p> <p>Author's note: This is my first story and very likely to be the next BigThing™ so you'd better get in on it quickly! Maybe your comments will be talked about in future literature class. Joking aside, I would appreciate any constructive comments you could offer, but please don't completely destroy my ego.
