This was conceived for the write-a-thon, but I wound up getting a little ahead of myself and churned out 61k words in under a week which I published at first draft quality. I've gone back for an edit job, and Chapters 1 - 18 are roughly at second draft quality now. It's not quite at what I want it to be yet, but it's getting there.For some background: I used to write some moderately popular fanfiction for The Dresden Files, Fate / Stay Night, and Worm, and came back to writing on October of 2022 after a 5 year hiatus.</p> <p>This piece is a personal love letter to the media and fandoms that kept a different me sane in another time, another age.
