The System came to Earth and Humanity descended into chaos as people awoke mythological powers and Monsters began roaming the streets. The story of the survivors was filled with both hardship and wonder.

This is not that story.

John Baxter was only three when the System came. He knew no other life than one filled with swords and sorcery. When his parents died he swore to protect those who needed it, no matter the cost. His journey was filled with loneliness and struggle but in the end he stood tall as one of the strongest in the world. His story would inspire countless people to greatness.

This isn't that story either.

When the Cult of the Grave, a group of lunatics who believe life to be a lie and death the only true happiness, summon Shalgaruud, Ender of Worlds, and perform a ritual to kill all life on earth, heroes from all nations gather together to fight the threat. The battle is devastatingly glorious and gloriously devastating, leaving only three alive to witness the death of Shalgruud.

This is still not that story.

For one thing, the three survivors still ended up dead a few minutes afterwards. Would've been a pretty short story. Interesting, sure, but short.

No, this is the story of what happens after the heroes die.

Standard reincarnation into rpg style world. Slight cultivation influence but mostly the standard RPG system type genre. Plenty of levels, dungeons and laughter with the occasional bit of seriousness. If your hoping for dark or grimdark, there are plenty of good novels other than this one that you should try.

Artwork provided by StarryAI and owned by moi
