Asren had prepared himself for what that road led down. He just hadn't been correct. </p> <p> Whether it was luck, greed, ignorant curiosity, or something much, <em> much </em> more sinister, Asren is granted a chance at his freedom. </p> <p> With but one condition. </p> <p> To become the not just an illegal sorcerer, but the greatest one under the Spire itself. </p> <p> A grand notion indeed. One Asren fully intends to fulfill. </p> <p> After all, he never was much a fan of chains. </p> <p> A progression fantasy story set in a grim dark world with all the eldritch goodness you could want. Expect an underlying tone of accepted monstrosity and horror slowly encroaching on Asren as the story progresses. Twists and turns that even I don't know about all headed by an exploration into a rather deep magic system underpinning the working order of the world. Magic, mayhem and madness. </p> <p> Schedule: twice a day up to chapter twenty. Once a day from then on. </p> <p> Length: Varies from 1500-2800 words per chapter. </p>
