<p>Four years ago, the satellite of a mega-corporation decided to test a faster than light engine they had designed. Unfortunately, we don't know if it worked after all their facility has been replaced with a glowing ball of something and no one came out of it to tell us conclusively.</p> <p>We do know what it's done to our dimension though.</p> <p>Namely that its boundaries aren't quite right anymore, and it keeps on getting changed as it bounces off the others around us. Landscape, animals, people, any of these things might be changed after our dimension clashes with another and comes out worse for wear.</p> <p>At one time we thought we were doomed to an eternity of instability, but as the aftershocks fade away and our understanding of how rare it is for something to get changed solidified it becomes just another statistic in life. Maybe a house on a nearby block changes design suddenly or you hear of some minor celebrity becoming a squirrel person, but you're more likely to be hit by a car so our minds can put it away as something that happens to someone else.</p> <p>After all, it's already been four years, what are the chances it happens to me at this point?</p> <p>Hey there!</p> <p>I have been daydreaming about random story ideas for years, and I decided why not actually write it down this time?</p> <p>So here we are.</p> <p>I won't assure you that this is entirely unique as it is inspired by other fiction I have read and watched, and to be frank, I have brain worms because of a lot of them. This is more a story I am writing for myself than for others, but I am hoping at least a few of you enjoy it!</p> <p>I will warn you the Gender Bender tag is for the MC, but I am not really doing it for horndog reasons so try not to judge me too harshly.</p> <p>I am planning to do two weeks of daily updates to start with, then hopefully settle into M/F updates with occasional Wednesday ones. I don't guarantee chapter length, but I would suggest expecting 2.5-5k depending on what I think works.</p> <p>Just a few quick disclaimers. There are screennames that might line up with real peoples, I don't intend any association, so please don't get mad if I accidentally recreated yours. I have taken creative liberties with locations as well for sake of flexibility. This is all fiction that isn't supposed to represent anyone or anything in particular and all that jazz.</p>
