<p> Gilly Rivers is a nobody. He's always been a nobody, and life in the rotten, decadent, corrupt city of Paradise Rise is only getting worse. Everywhere he turns the city is caving in on itself, it's legs spread wide by the crime boss known as Seldom. But then the city isn't Gilly's concern. The only thing he cares about is his seven-year-old daughter, Daisy. The problem of course is just what happens when Little Daisy runs afoul of the darker forces that control Paradise Rise. The problem is just what happens when Seldom decides Daisy fits his tastes. </p>
