<p>In Aurora City, Renard Academy opens for another semester, and with it comes thousands of aspiring mages filled with hope and talent. The city prepares for their arrival, hiding away all the worst aspects of itself. Despite this, rumors spread of a vigilante roaming the night and rounding up criminals by the dozens.</p> <p>Rainen would much rather busy himself with his second identity as The Vigilante. However, his weeks of searching for the man who tricked him has gone nowhere. Unable to find his target alone, his time has run out. Bound by a promise to his master, he begrudgingly attends the school and endures the hardships within.</p> <p>He isn't alone.</p> <p>Ellar gets a one in a lifetime opportunity to leave the small room she's known all her life and explore the vast world she's read about in her stories. Sponsored by a merchant guild, she's thrown into Renard Academy, dominated by haughty nobles and brimming with conflict, when all she wants is to become an adventurer.</p> <p>Fortunately for both of them, labyrinths are the lifeblood of the world, and the city has its very own.
