<p>Femira lives on the fringes of society. An uneducated outcast, with an arrogant sense of her own abilities, Femira thirsts for more knowledge and power. She has a drive to be the best, most skilled hunter there is—whether it be treasure or people that she needs to hunt.</p> <p>Prince Daegan is disgraced by his abusive father and left to squander in the far reaches of the world. Inherent to a long line of powerful Runeweilders, Daegan lacks any of the powers commanded by his ancestors.</p> <p>Military powers are rising in the world, and newly discovered powers can turn the tides in either direction.</p> <p>Expectations:</p> <p>This story is written from multiple perspectives—both female and male—that switch every few chapters. The prominent protagonist is female. The story does take place in a high fantasy world. I'm still finessing the map and will post this as pre-section to chapter 1 soon.</p> <p>There is a profanity warning because I want to be natural with how people talk and cursing is a thing most normal people do. So it will happen where it makes sense, some characters curse more than others for obvious reasons.</p> <p>I didn't put 'Gore' as a warning as—subjectively—I don't think that it's particularly high in gore, just the normal amount of fantasy gore; brains spilling on floors and people being torn apart by monsters—that's all pretty standard right? I don't plan to be overly detailed with it but be aware it will happen occassionally, I'll add a gore warning if readers feel it's needed.</p> <p>Updates Every Sunday. Chapters will be between 3,000 to 5,000 words. I have a bank of about 25 chapters that I will bulk update over the coming days/weeks.</p>
