It's 2029 and for as long as we remember, the world has been populated by some people who possess enhancements. Whether genetically passed on or gifted through circumstance, enhanced beings live side by side 'pures' as they choose how to use their strengths. To monitor, keep in check and evenly match enhanceds, Governments across the world have recruited and created taskforces to deal with those who step out of line. The Enhanced Beings Collective are the team responsible for safeguarding the USA's national and global interests. Individually and collectively, the they stand up against those who use their enhancements for ill gains.

Season One of The Enhanced Beings Collective, named Resentment , is spread over 37 issues. It features an ensemble cast in a comic book inspired series, exploring the lives of the various team members as they fight against bad, against each other and occasionally themselves.

The first 13 issues set up the series with the Fons et Origo Storyline. Here we are introduced to the world as Kimona Jones embarks on an adventure of a lifetime in 1939. An adventure she is ill prepared for and where she finds herself out of her depth.

NB: Since starting to post, I have decided to go back and add a few mature warning tags for what may come up in future releases. Generally speaking, the aim is to keep it all mainstream and T+ in terms of content. My preference would have been to be able to tag stories individually rather than a blanket warning for the entire series, as this might mislead readers into making assumptions. In regards to The Enhanced Beings Collective: i. Swearing is mostly alluded to or the character is cut off before they start the word, but occasionally in contextually appropriate moments, a character may swear. ii. In respects to gore, RR guidelines suggest " Any explicit depiction of violence, blood, mutilation and any other imagery that is generally considered disturbing is to be considered gore ". Some times I may describe a bloody crime scene, but certainly not in too great a detail. iii. On reflection I do feel that there will be moments in the future that will be considered traumatising content- that is, that it could " contain ideas, depictions or themes that are considered questionable by society at large." Reason for this mostly being a creative one, where I try to not do obvious storylines, and I suppose in a way, try to counter the expected or the 'happy ending' one might see coming.

I will however make sure I give a clear warning in the 'pre-chapter author note' section for the relevant stories, highlighting you specifically to what you may come across.

There are plans for a more explicit/mature spin off to come out of this series, so if that does tickle your pickle more, then stay tuned.
