<p>It's a terrible thing when the call to adventure comes when you're on the toilet and doesn't give you even the chance to pull up your pants before it tosses you into another world.</p> <p>Unlike the cliche isekai adventure tropes most people would expect, I didn't get any kind of overpowered cheat-like abilities. Instead, I've been dropped pants down onto the wild frontier of a world dangerous enough that an order of knights in magical power armor is considered the bare minimum necessary to keep it safe. The good news is, two of those knights were the first people to find me and have decided to try and convince their order to take me in until I can find my feet in this new world, if not a way back home. The bad news is, my isekai adventure is going to be less about defeating the demon lord, collecting a harem of impossibly proportioned anime girls, and becoming a hero of legend, and more about trying not to die in a region where even the fluffy bunnies can straight-up murder you in a heartbeat. Worse, my arrival coincides with a storm of trouble brewing that threatens not just the frontier, but the entire kingdom. Between goblins, the undead, ogres, and bizarre conspiracies hatched by conspiracy theorists, I'm going to have my hands full keeping my head attached to the rest of my body.</p>
