Charlotte Grace was a quiet girl who was quick witted and smart but didn't know how to express her feelings properly since she didn't interact with people much.

Her parents died when she was only 4 years old, leaving her with herself to look out for in an orphanage.

She depended on herself in everything and survived with sheer hard work but despite that, she never felt like she was alive. No friends, no lover, no parents nor any relatives made her feel empty deep inside.

So her only oasis in her lonely and dry life became books, anime and games

She was smart and could remember things much faster than normal people but she wasn't a typical genius either.

She was knowledgeable through books but she didn't put them into use because she didn't have any other dream but to just read novels, watch anime, play games and read more books.

She was an introverted anti-social otaku.

One day while playing her favourite fantasy romance game, Royal Intrigue, which was like an RPG, suddenly her surrounding started to shake violently as if the world was getting destroyed. She got crushed inside the debris of the house and breathed her last.

After she opened her eyes, she found herself in an unfamiliar place with a new identity, new family, new experiences and new beginning which were all too familiar for her even if it seemed unreal.

She got reincarnated into the world of Royal Intrigue as the main Villainess, Charlotte Schneider. She got herself a system and set an aim, to become strong and protect her family from anyone!

But... Even after trying to avoid the main storyline, why do those annoying people still continue to come for her? Why is that prince looking at her with those strange eyes? And the heroine....why isn't she behaving hostile like in the game?

Charlotte couldn't understand but she didn't care as her aim still remained clear in her head, to become strong, to protect and go on an adventure!
