<p>3.0.1 is the story of the crew of the United Nations Ship Des Moines, CA-69. After a rogue alien state attacks the Federation headquarters on Earth, the Federation begins to fracture under the stress of war, secret alliances, and broken treaties. Rebellion breaks out, humanity split in two between the Federation loyalist state and the rebel planets, calling themselves Guard Force, humanity's defenders. Fierce battles, espionage, mutinies, and political intrigue mix together to tear everything apart, and it's up to a brave few to defend the hopes and dreams of humanity.</p> <p>Author's note: 3.0.1 is a work in progress and all aspects of the book and related works may be subject to change in future developments. Cover art by a friend (who wished to remain anonymous); finished cover will be in color. The current version is a rough draft, and will be revised in the future to fix grammatical errors and other mistakes. Chapters will be written seperately, and beta readers will get access to pre-release chapters before it is updated here, to allow for reviewing before the final (albeit still rough draft) version is put here. My goal is to be adding chapters every week, although with the rest of life going on, progress may be a little slower.</p>
