After losing his job, the newly NEETed 28 year old Lucian finds himself at a crossroads.

Either look for another job, or embrace the livelihood of lonesomeness.

Lucian was a hard and a smart worker, having enough money put aside since joining a family friend's company at the age of 16. But the company now was bankrupt, and he didn't exactly have the scholarship to find himself as cosy a desk.

While browsing the web for something to kill time on, one thing kept popping up in the midst of everything else.

An Augmented VReality game, a dungeon delver residing inside an Open World MMORPG. A build your own world sort of game, where the players had a hand in the game's geography, architecture and community.

But the game's rules were what truly caught his attention...

For it told him.

To be what he wanted to be. Do what he wanted to do. And there would be no real life repercussions.

Kill, Rape and Pillage. Only the players could stop you, if they were able to. The economy was also interchangeable into real currency. Items could be freely sold and bought, with both in game money and real-life e-cash.

This made its popularity sky rocket over the past years, as it created not just an economy but a community in which actual jobs were possible. With the 2030th century's explosion in the human population…the government pulled down its pants and bent over. Allowing this to even exist in the first place.

Lucian found himself checking the price.
