Many more questions await the willing reader, not too many answers though. There is some character depth in unexpected places. Contains smut, because the characters wanted it. There is no explicit sexual content, merely repeated mentions of it happening. Wish-fulfillment fantasy, but some characters don't play nice. Experimental writing style and formatting, this is a Work In Progress, challenging storytelling dogmas. The Author doesn't care for rankings. The author wants to polish this story as much as possible. The author asks for helpful comments, improving the story within its fundamental tenets. Rapid pacing within 100k words per book, Ambiguity forcing you to think why characters act. Warnings: 15+ for Violence, alluding to explicit content often. ================================================================================================= First book semi-complete at 95K words within 35 chapters. Sidestory 1 contrasts the OP MC and will be chapter 2 in the published book. Sidestory 2 will feature King Mitara's POV, and end publication of YAOS on RRL. ================================================================================================= Romance nerd sensibilities, slash lovers, those will not be satisfied with YAOS, unless they actually like OP. There is a troll present with two reviews, ten accounts in total, the lack of action to contain that person by itself, would require the relocation of YAOS. ================================================================================================= ================================================================================================= Experimental Fiction Disclaimer: You cannot speedread this novel, details are rarely repeated. A high reading comprehension and retention help tremendously. Troll self admittedly lacks both, so take her two reviews with a grain of salt, or a whole bag. Every sentence and word matters. The formatting and style reflect this and are the only way the author can offer you WIP drafts as he goes along anyway. If you keep in mind what happened. Changing attitudes of characters will make a lot more sense. The author prefers multiple imperatives for characters to act on. The mystery of their meeting, the places they go to. You guessing why is half the fun. Spelling out every reason and motive destroys mystery and bores you quickly, you will never read such a tale twice. This tale is designed to be read often, a cohesive whole from start to finish. From the obvious to the little things. The author had a lot of fun hiding details between the lines. Attentive readers will enjoy this. Worldbuilding requires its words to be read and retained. It cannot be delivered otherwise. Many details are shown first before they are told, sometimes much later. Filler words and unnecessary details were eliminated wherever possible. Chapters rewritten and condensed to ensure the flow and pacing. Only extraordinary details are told. YAOS isn't 50 Twilights of Katniss. romance and explicit content are between the lines. If you must, imagine them on your own, please!</p> <p>The romance tag was explicitly excluded, expecting shmomance regardless is... inane.</p> <p>At one point the description even stated there to be no romance with too many characters!</p> <p>A perfect euphemism for the harem genre tag as a whole.</p> <p>YAOS is about exploring the ability to be ambiguous, a puzzle which slowly unveils itself. Polished to the degree possible within the limitations of its design. A very ambitious project which requires a high attention to detail to deliver well. A lot of progress you can read in just a day after work or school. Each time you can find something new simply by reasoning. The lack of told detail is by design. This is designed to offer a satisfying 『New Game+』 experience, after books 2 and 3 are read, you can understand ambiguous parts told from the very beginning. YAOS is not designed to replace anyone's life, it is meant to better you, improve your reading comprehension and retention, working memory and reasoning ability while exciting you. I want to do more than just tell a good story, improving my readers is what I am here for, too! Train your working memory by reading YAOS, you'll be smarter once you're through! The trick is to retain what you read, very simple but powerful once mastered! Just updating 3 chapters March 2017 was annoying as hell, in no way will the author keep updating his story on RRL. It costs too much time. You will see a goodbye present, a last chapter, without pretty tables, once it is written and the new host prepared. Please support YAOS once it releases on amazon, et al.
