A man of few words, much grumbling, and the adopted son of one of the more notorious gods of the underworld, Samael. Betrayed by those he thought were his allies, he loses his friends and family to the blades and guns of his enemies. Vowing vengeance the likes no universe has seen before, Grim makes the decision to hunt down the Shards of Creation. Twelve jewels of power so immense that they can alter the very fabric of reality.</p> <p>His plans for those jewels? Use them to utterly corrupt and shatter a reality-wide complex apparatus known as the System that is used to govern and control all living beings under its umbrella.</p> <p>The problem?</p> <p>He finally gets his hands on one, and it drops him into a universe completely and utterly disconnected from all others. A world that contains an Earth... with humans... with superpowers.</p> <p>Follow Grim as he struggles to not only understand just how this new, strange, and unusual universe operates but also how these people have the powers they do without any access at all to the System.
