In the dreaming world of Ainerax, where divine remnants of a long-forgotten battle between gods and dragons have fallen, the land, sky, and sea are now inhabited by humans, monsters, awakened and enlightened mythical beasts, whose paths and destinies are carved out by the remance of fallen Gods. Those born striding a path laid ahead for them, chosen to fight for a purpose that isn't their own are known as the "Godsent" by their mundane brethren.

Among them, some are born, spawned only to be slaves to the path that has been carved out for them, slave to the Dream that isn't even theirs, while others will be cast aside, betrayed by the very path the divine has set them onto, only to fall, in turn, and be forgotten. Only a chosen few will set themselves on a path carved by them and themselves alone.

This isn't a tale set in the aftermath of an apocalypse, but rather, a story that unfolds on the brink of one. How will our protagonist prevent it from happening? Wait, why would he do that? Follow the journey of our protagonist, a Lord of Old, as he sets the world ablaze.

What to expect of this novel?

A lot, except "XP". This is a Litrpg, so naturally it has a system, but it should be kept in mind that the system in this novel is not inspired by a game-like interface, even though it is what it might look like in the first 15 chapters.

I believe it would be better, for comprehension's sake, to put aside the notion of XP (experience points), HP (health points), and SP (stamina points) while reading this novel. However, don't worry, you will quickly get the gist of the system, as will the main character progressively.

You can also expect three different power systems, each operating independently of the other. However, if wielded wisely and in unison can work together in great synergy.

Expect a large Bestiary. A lot of lore.

Aside from what has been mentionned above know that there will be character devellopment for the Main Character, the supporting cast and of course, as it is LitRPG, the system (Not just increase, but upgrade).

What to not expect of this novel?

I'm not the kind of author that would pull out the kind of plot twist where all the plot has been a dream all along, so you may rest assured. Though the frequent mention of "dreaming," "Dream," "nightmare," may suggest otherwise, it is not a dream, nor will it be revealed to be one in the future.
