<p>Before the seasons stopped changing, before the oceans dried up, before the animals starved, it is said that there were dragons.</p> <p>Creatures the likes of which the Guarda has not seen since.</p> <p>Following the dragons' disappearance, rain did not fall for millennia, and the once beautiful land was baked into an arid desert - where the few things that survived, did so poorly.</p> <p>Growing up in that scalding desert, Bo had little in the way of opportunity. He dared not hope, for those never materialised, and he feared to wish, as his never came true.</p> <p>However, when night fell and he slipped into oblivion – Bo was free to dream.</p> <p>And dream he did.</p> <p>Of a world living. Of rivers and lakes. Of food aplenty.</p> <p>But those dreams were not his favourite. No, Bo liked one in particular. A dream that captured his imagination and harkened back to a time when Guarda thrived.</p> <p>Bo's favourite dream was that of dragons.</p> <p>Where that dream would take him... only time will tell.</p> <p>Elevator pitch:</p> <p>This is a story with a similar concept to Eragon. It's a slow-burn progression fantasy -where a boy and dragon work together to overcome massive odds.</p> <p>The crux of the plot is that the dragons have long since disappeared, and Bo (our mc) wants to find out what happened to them. He undertakes a gruelling odyssey that drags him all over the ruins of Guarda - a kingdom that has been in the process of dying for centuries.</p> <p>Chapters every other day at 12:00 GMT</p>
