Dungeon Inspector Badger - a surly, book smart Halfling - was one of the greats. Half of the work at the Department of Dungeons usually entailed helping new dungeon owners find minions with the help of unions and schools, ensure that the dungeons are up to code, and moving dungeons to new areas if they were no longer viable for their location.

The other half of the work is putting out fires. Rogue dungeon owners operating outside of their stated parameters, spontaneous dungeons appearing around powerful beasts, and dealing with the economics surrounding every dungeon's shared resource: magic crystals used to power every magical item from weapons to vehicles to torches.

The problem is, there are always fires that needed to be put out.

Badger gets pulled from his mundane route to deal with a deadly challenge with the help of Ferrisdae, the Junior Dungeon Inspector foisted on him. The land pirate Raitheus Razorbeak, owner of a roving caravan of portal dungeons, has stolen a precious artifact and deviated from his approved circuit.

Badger and Ferrisdae must now follow Razorbeak's Caravan to the frozen north, into a storm that had been raging for hundreds of years. Only not everything is as it appears; someone, or something, is pulling the strings from the shadows.

---------

What to expect:

- Single POV following Dungeon Inspector Badger.

- Ensemble cast with different ancestries, abilities, and number of legs.

- GameLIT: TTRPG inspiration from various sources, with a System behind the scenes"
