<p>A Long time ago, on a planet called Dirt, a species was destroying itself and the world.</p> <p>At least that's what the Overlords claimed.</p> <p>In order to save the species from its own destruction, they invaded and slaughtered many of the inhabitants. For their own good, of course.</p> <p>In order to help them grow and become civilized and useful citizens, they brought with them the wonders of magic and a system. Which they promptly denied the humans, casting them all into slavery. For their own good, of course.</p> <p>They have fought off a thousand other benevolent invaders angry at missing the chance to 'liberate' a rich world like Dirt, or Earth, or something like that. Since, of course, the Humans whose world this is would never be able to protect themselves, seeing as how they are all still slaves and restricted from doing so.</p> <p>The benevolent Saviors were unprepared for Earth's savage will and technology to protect itself from their high-minded principles, and thus they captured the souls of thousands of Earth's dead warriors, placed them into war machine bodies, and used them to pacify their own world's suicidal resistance.</p> <p>This is the story of the last surviving soldier, who, despite being trapped in an alien shell, has freed his mind and soul and discovered a way for humans to fight back against the saviors.</p> <p>Because he has been trapped in a shell for 5000 years... and the benevolent liberators never left.</p> <p>This story contains elements of deckbuilding, crafting, system apocalypse, war stories, family, religions, science fiction, fantasy, magipunk, aliens, role-playing games, and Evil Elves.</p>
