One symbolized the civilization of the world, and the others, a savage race bent on their extinction. They were destined to fight each other to the death, and they have been doing so for a millennia. At least, that was what Matthias, a hero from another world, believed. But by the time he was born, not only had the demons been hounded back to their frozen lands, the Lord of Demons had already been defeated. The threat of demons were no more. The world was finally at peace.</p> <p>Except it wasn't.</p> <p>With the demons cowering in their dens, the four races have resumed their all-out battle against each other... and against their own.</p> <p>"There's always people to be saved, at every place, at every era. So let's save them all!"</p> <p>In the middle of a war-torn land, a girl declared thus. She said she was the Demon Lord, the Bringer of Calamity, the Greatest of all Evils. And she extended her hand towards him, the hero, asking for his help.</p> <p>"Helping others is only natural for the Demon Lord, right?"</p> <p>Humanity and the demons cannot walk the same path.</p> <p>He thought it too ridiculous to believe.</p> <p>But perhaps, against the true cruelty of mankind... maybe they were a necessity.</p>
