He went to a great school, had zero debt, and his master's degree was coming in a year. His parents were well off, and they both loved him. By no means should he have considered accepting their offer.

To abandon everything? The life that he lived on Earth, the place in which his memories were made and lost, his home where he laughed and wept, to wander the universe as a ghost?

How laughable. Most people would refuse immediately, yet he felt strangely hesitent. What was he after exactly? Money and riches? Power? Fame? A perfect life?

A perfect life makes a boring story. The thought echoed within him until he could hear nothing else.

He walked to the side of his dorm to opened the window, and deeply breath in the fresh, vernal air.

He would regret it. He would miss his parents. He would hate himself for ever accepting.

But Spring was coming, and he wanted something new.

The first arc is quite slow as there is so much to explain about this magic system if I were to introduce it naturally. The real plot begins after arc 1 ends.

What chapter does it end at? You'll know when you see it. Arc 2 starts off with a bang!

0.8 Chapters every 5 days (On average, I offer no promises; unfortunately I am both lazy, and busy as hell)
