<p> Mel finds themselves waking from a daze in the lobby of a strange academy. But it's not just any academy it's apparently <em> The Academy </em> . An academy that sits between worlds and teaches the fundamentals of magic beyond the level of any given universe. </p> <p> Except this was perhaps a mistake. The body they find themselves in is wrong and earth doesn't seem to have magic in the first place. How long can Mel mooch off of the Academy while living the dream of witchcraft and wizardry? What will happen if he's found out? </p> <p> AN: Hey! Just like to let you know this is practically my first published story. Done bits of writing in the past but never got around to publishing. It may be a bit rough around the edges but I plan to try the Writathon (and probably fail miserably). Otherwise I find myself often over-complicating things. </p> <p> The cover is a WIP I mocked up in blender. Also uses JWST photos for the background. </p> <p> [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] </p>
